What do I get in my kidknits kit?
All kits include a pattern, printed on card stock with a color photograph of the finished item; enough Peaches & Creme 100% cotton worsted weight yarn to complete the largest size; buttons and trim; and a graphed design chart.Are knitting needles included?
No, but I do offer bamboo needles in the appropriate sizes for the kits. You can buy them on the needles page.What sizes do the kits come in?
The sweater kits are sized for 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months. The finished chest measurements are:
6 mos=19"
12 mos=21"
18 mos=23".Why cotton?
I've found cotton to be the most compatible yarn for babies: it's soft, cool in the warm months, warm in the cool months, making it a great all-season fiber, and, in addition to being easy care, it's hypo-allergenic.I'm a beginning knitter. How do I choose a kit or pattern?
Each kit and pattern has a skill rating that is shown on the catalog description page.

is intermediate, for the advanced beginner/intermediate knitter: you need to know how to cast-on, bind-off, knit and purl, how to pick up stitches, and how to work with two colors.What if I need help?

| What can you tell me about the patterns?
The patterns have row by row instructions and a graphed design for any picture knits. You can choose between a pattern printed on card stock with a color photograph of the finished item that is mailed to you, or a pattern in pdf which is sent to you by email. Please note: patterns are not emailed instantly; they are sent to you when I've received your order and verification from PayPal.What kind of yarn do I need?
The yarn specified is Peaches & Creme 100% cotton worsted weight yarn that works up at 4sts/1 inch on size 7 needles, but any other worsted weight yarn that gives the same gauge may be used.I'd like to purchase a kit or pattern. What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept payment through PayPal, as well as checks and money orders.I don't have a PayPal account. Can I still use my credit card?
Yes. You can use your credit card securely through PayPal even if you don't have a PayPal account.How soon can I expect my order to arrive?
Patterns and kits are shipped within 2-3 days from receipt of paid order.PDF patterns are usually sent within a couple of hours of receipt of payment; they are sent to you when I've received your order and verification from PayPal.Where do you ship?
I ship worldwide. Shipping costs on kits are for within the US or Canada. Printed patterns, needles and stitch markers ship for free within the US or Canada. Shipping outside the US or Canada is available for an extra fee. There is no shipping charge for pdf patterns (you do need to fill out shipping information when ordering pdf patterns to complete the checkout process). I want to order kits, which have shipping costs, and needles, which have no shipping costs. What shipping method do I choose?During the checkout process, you'll be asked to select a Shipping Method. If you're ordering kits that have shipping and another item that doesn't, please check "kits" when selecting your shipping method.What about returns?I hope you're always satisfied with your kidknits purchase, but if not, please email me and let me know what the problem is. Kits are returnable within 14 days of receipt in unopened, new condition. Return shipping and handling cannot be refunded.
