Take a classic lace pattern, pump it up on large needles, work it in funky colors, and you’ve got a Modern Lace Baby Blanket.
The pattern is for a blanket, finished size approximately 32" x 32".
The yarn called for is worsted weight, working at approximately 4 sts = 1" on size 10 needles. The larger size needles makes a very soft, plushy knit that just gets better with use!
The four-row repeat of the lace pattern is easy to memorize, and working on size 10 needles means that this can be an almost-last-minute gift.
The blanket shown is worked in Peaches & Creme 100% cotton in Chocolate, Light Blue, Persimoon, and Apple Green. You can go as modern or traditional as you like in your color choices.
