This is an easy and adorable hat to knit with minimal finishing: the hat is knitted in the round, switching from yellow to brown for the flower center, so there are only your casting-on and binding-off ends to work in.
The petals are set off by a purl rib, and the flower center is worked in alternating bands of knit and purl stitch to give the effect of seeds.
The finished measurements for this pattern are 16" and 18".
The yarn called for is worsted weight that works up at 4sts/1". The hat in the pattern is worked in Peaches n Creme 100% unmercerized worsted weight. The colors are light sage, yellow, and brown.
