This simple, classic blanket couldn't be easier to knit: all garter stitch. Knit on the diagonal, it's like an old-fashioned wash-cloth, only bigger!
The pattern is for a blanket, finished size approximately 34" x 34".
The yarn called for is worsted weight, working at 4 sts/1" in garter stitch on size 10 needles. The larger size needles makes a very soft, plushy knit that just gets better with use!
The blanket shown is worked in Peaches & Creme 100% cotton in light blue; any solid color, and especially varigated yarn, makes a beautiful blanket.
