Nothing says "heirloom" more than a lace baby blanket, but knitting lace on small needles can take a very long time! I found that working this classic Feather and Fan pattern on larger needles with heavier yarn produced a lush but lacey blanket in just about no time.
The yarn specified is worsted weight which works up quickly on size 10.5 needles. The four-row repeat for the lace pattern is simple yet the result looks much more complicated.
The blanket shown is worked in Peaches & Creme Desert Sunset. It also looks beautiful in a solid color.
