This is an easy and adorable hat to knit with minimal finishing: the hat is knitted in the round, switching from the main color to the topknot color, so there are only your casting-on and binding-off ends to work in.
The edges of the turned piece are finished with a simple running stitch.
The finished measurements for this hat are 16" and 18".
The yarn called for is worsted weight that will work up at 4sts=1". The hat shown is worked in Peaches n Creme 100% unmercerized cotton. The main color is dark olive and the topknot and running stitch are worked in a brick red.
This is a project you can do in an evening and have ready for the baby shower tomorrow!
