These soft, squeezable balls are the right size for little hands to play with.
Each ball is worked in garter stitch in two colors, in one piece; all the shaping is done using the short-row technique. Row by row instructions are given and are easy to follow, even if you've never worked short rows before. You can vary the color sequence to make each ball unique.
The yarn called for is worksted weight that works up quickly at 4sts=1" in stockinette stitch on size 7 needles.
The finished balls are approximately 5" in diameter, and are stuffed with polyester fiberfill or any soft stuffing of your choice.
The balls are shown in yellow, orange, lime, pink, purple and peacock.
For a pattern printed on card stock which will be mailed to you, choose "Printed" in the Format option. For a pdf pattern which will be emailed to you, choose "PDF" in the Format option.
