My son, in third grade at the time, asked for a sweater with a dinosaur on it. Still new to knitting-in pictures, I picked the brontosaurus for its rounded shape, and worked it as a gray sweater with a black dinosaur. Customers at craft shows asked for blue and red, and it pleased dinosaur-lovers for years.
This roomy, drop-shoulder pullover with rolled neck and sleeves is adorable and easy to knit.
There is minimal finishing: the sleeves are picked up and worked from the shoulder down, so there are only the side seams to finish.
The yarn is Peaches & Creme 100% unmercerized cotton in worsted weight. This yarn is soft, has a nice hand, and works up quickly at 4sts=1" on size 7 needles (needles not included).
