The apple green yarn was an impulse buy in the middle of winter. Thinking ahead to spring led me to make up this sweater. When it was time to choose the buttons, I couldn't decide which color, so I used them all.
This roomy, drop-shoulder cardigan is adorable and easy to knit.
There is minimal finishing: the sleeves are picked up and worked from the shoulder down, so there are only the side seams to finish, and the button bands are worked in garter stitch as you knit the sweater.
The yarn is Peaches & Creme 100% unmercerized cotton in worsted weight. This yarn is soft, has a nice hand, and works up quickly at 4sts=1" in stockinette stitch on size 7 needles (needles not included).
The kit contains enough yarn to make the largest size sweater, buttons, and yarn for the hat trim, plus complete instructions.
The color is apple green, the buttons are green, orange, red and yellow, and there is a choice of four colors for the hat trim.
The kit is for sizes 6,12,or18 months (finished chest measurement: 19"/21"/23").
