A big juicey slice of watermelon adorns this sweater (there's a big bite taken out already!)
This roomy, drop-shoulder pullover with rolled neck and sleeves is adorable and easy to knit.
There is minimal finishing: the sleeves are picked up and worked from the shoulder down, so there are only the side seams to finish.
The yarn is Peaches & Creme 100% unmercerized cotton in worsted weight. This yarn is soft, has a nice hand, and works up quickly at 4sts/1" in stockinette stitch on size 7 needles (needles not included).
The kit contains enough yarn to make the largest sweater and hat plus complete instructions, including a graphed chart for the design.
The main color is ecru (off white), and the watermelon is worked in dark and light green, pink and has black seeds. The hat is pink with black seeds; the ribbing "rind" is dark green, light green and white.
