Jaunty is the best word, I think, to describe this hat and scarf set: ready for any adventure that may come along.
This adorable set is easy and quick to make: the hat is trimmed with a garter band and topped with a matching loop. It is worked in the round, so you only have your casting-on and binding-off ends to work in.
The scarf is worked all in garter stitch, a great complement to varigated yarns.
The finished measurements for the hat are 16" and 18", and the scarf is approximately 4"x26".
The yarn is Peaches & Creme 100% unmercerized cotton in worsted weight, and the color choices are white and strawberry cream, or white and faded denim. This yarn is soft, has a nice hand, and works up quickly at 4sts=1" in stockinette stitch on size 7 needles (needles not included).
The kit contains enough yarn to make the scarf and the larger size hat plus complete instructions.
